International Competition: At the 2011 National Diving Championships in mid-August, was 13th in the prelims of the one-meter (238.75)... prior to Stanford, competed at the AT&T National and U.S. Junior National Diving Championships the last two years, qualifying for two national events each year... placed 10th in the one-meter and 13th in the three-meter at the 2010 Nationals, after placing fourth (one-meter) and fifth (three-meter) at Zone D Qualifiers... at the 2010 Winter Nationals, placed 12th in the one-meter and 25th in the three-meter after respective eighth and 11th place finishes at the preliminaries... at the 2009 Nationals, placed eighth in the three-meter synchronized finals and 24th in the one-meter, after finishing sixth in both the one and three-meters... at the 2009 Junior Summer Zones, won the three-meter and was second in the one-meter in her age group... at the 2008 Age Group National Championships, won the three-meter for her age group and was a runner-up in the one-meter in just her second year of diving after moving over from gymnastics as a freshman in high school.
2011-12 (Sophomore):Finished off her second season at her second-straight NCAAs, where she earned All-America status for the second time, finishing eighth in the 1-Meter (312.05).... was also 31st in the 3-meter... at Zones, finished fifth in the 1-Meter (558.70) to earn a spot into Nationals after a 19th place finish in the 3-Meter (265.85)... at Pac-12s finished second in the 1-Meter (296.25) and fifth in the 3-meter (302.05). Also 14th in the platform (180.20)... during the regular season picked up a double win over Cal and Utah in the 1- and 3-meters... also won the 3-Meter dual with Arizona with a score of 355.18... at her own Stanford Invite, won the 1-Meter and 3-Meter, both against Cal's Molly Hayes...was also second in tri-meet with Florida and Michigan in the fall in the 1-Meter... first team academic all-Pac-12.
2010-11 (Freshman): Named the Pac-10's Freshman Diver of the Year... one of two All-American divers in the three-meter, finishing 16th with a score of 295.60... reached the national championships after a rough start, 29th in the prelims of the one-meter, before rebounding to finish third in the three-meter with a score of 629.25... in her first conference championship, helped the Cardinal to a conference title with a fourth place finish in the three-meter (321.20)... was second to teammate Meg Hostage in the three-meter of the Bruin Invite with a score of 299.90...won the three-meter over her fellow All-American, Meg Hostage, in the dual meet against Cal to close out the season... finished fourth in both the one and three-meters in the dual meet against Arizona... finished 13th in the consolation finals of the Wildcat Invite in the one-meter with a score of 235.30.
High School, Club and Personal Data: Three-year letterman at Archbishop Mitty in the South Bay... helped lead team to the Central Coast Sectional Championship in 2009 and 2010 and a runner-up finish in 2008... twice won the West Catholic Athletic League title during state title runs... two-time prep All-American and was twice named the San Jose Mercury News Diver of the Year... two-time state diving champion in 2009 and 2010... three-time WCAL champion... earned the Catherin Malone Memorial Scholarship for determination and success in science and athletics at Archbishop Mitty... set meet records at the WCAL Championships, as well as the Clovis West and Presentation Meets... also holds Presentation High's pool record... only child of Brad and Jane Phipps... majoring in biology.
