Stanford extended its win streak to three games (at Washington State, at Arizona, Arizona State), the largest since the Cardinal captured the final four games of the regular season in 2001 (at Arizona, California, Notre Dame, at San Jose State).
Stanford's third straight Pac-10 win marked the first time the Cardinal has won three of more straight Pac-10 games since the 1999 squad started its Pac-10 slate with five consecutive victories (Washington State, at Arizona, UCLA, Oregon State, at USC).

Michael Sgroi kicked his 41st career field goal at Stanford to move within one of fourth-place Rod Garcia (42, 1971-73) on Stanford's career field goal list ... Sgroi also made all six of his PAT attempts to increase his career total to 86, moving into a tie for fifth-place on that all-time school list.
