Nigeria Basketball

  • Made her international debut for Nigeria at the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup in Brno, Czechia
  • Led the team in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 12.1 points and 7.0 rebounds in seven games
    • Started the group phase with 25 points on 8-of-8 shooting in 21 minutes against China
    • Finished with three consecutive double-digit scoring efforts in classification games against Argentina (17), Korea (18) and China (12)
  • Participated in the 2023 USA Women’s U16 National Team Trials with USA Basketball

    • Scored a single-game school record 40 against Prospect on Dec. 26
  • As a junior, averaged 15.9 points and 8.4 rebounds
  • Averaged 11.2 points and 6.7 rebounds as a sophomore after being promoted to varsity midway through her freshman year

      • Mother, Ngozi, is currently the president and CEO of Sinai Chicago and was director of the Illinois Department of Public Health during the COVID-19 pandemic
        • Was the second woman and the first Black woman appointed to lead the nearly 150-year old state agency
        • Graduate of Harvard (chemistry) and the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine
  • Father is a family practice physician with the Cook County Health & Hospitals System
  • Has one older brother, Emeka, one older sister, Adaora, and one younger sister, Chika
  • Aunt, Ezinwa Ogbunamiri, is a Stanford graduate, class of 1997
