- Competed three full seasons for the Crimson
- Captured the Kennedy Challenge Cup by winning the 2V8 petite final at the 2022 IRA Championships, rowing in the No. 3 seat
- Rowed in the No. 3 seat on the men's four that placed third in the B final of the 2024 IRA Championships
- Competed in the No. 5 seat in the 3V8 that finished second at the 2023 IRA Championships
International
- Won 2018 world under-19 championship in the men's eight for Great Britain, in the No. 3 seat
- Won world championship while rowing with a broken rib
Personal
- Parents, Nicholas and Gillian Shakespeare, are both writers
- Has a brother, Ben
- Earned B.S. in pyschology from Harvard
- Working toward master's in public health with a focus on community health and prevention research
- Grew up half the year in Tasmania, half the year in England for 10 years
- Wrote undergraduate thesis on psychedelic language (looking at language as a biomarker for psychedelic therapy) and is focusing on psychedelics for his master's and still doing research in that area
- Did meditation research in Kyoto, and policy work for the United Nations, Venezuelan Embassy, Pan American Health Organization, and the Tunisian Ministry of Development
- Worked as a food journalist for Edible magazines while at Harvard
