  • Tallied 10 kickoff returns for 126 yards and 14 punt returns for 170 yards and a touchdown
  • In his first collegiate game as a punt returner (Sept. 7 vs. Cal Poly), returned a punt 90 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter for the first punt return for a touchdown by Stanford since Christian McCaffrey in 2016 Rose Bowl Game… his return tied for the second-longest in Stanford history with Luke Powell, who did so against UCLA in 2003
  • Recorded a season-best tying two receptions for 18 yards in the Cardinal’s come-from-behind upset of No. 22 Lousiville (Nov. 16)

As a Freshman (2023)

  • 247Sports Preseason True Freshman All-American
  • Appeared in 12 games during his freshman season, making seven starts
  • First collegiate start came against No. 9 Oregon on Sept. 30
  • Ended his first season with 36 receptions for 409 yards and a pair of touchdowns, finishing second on the team in receptions and yards
  • Led the Pac-12 in receptions and receiving yards by true freshman and finished seventh and ninth in the NCAA in those categories, respectively
  • Eclipsed the 90-yard mark twice, including on Sept. 23 against Arizona, with a then-career best 93 yards
  • Twice set the Stanford record for most receptions in a game by a true freshman: first against UCLA on Oct. 21 with eight catches, and again the following week against No. 5 Washington on Oct. 28 with 10
  • Scored his first collegiate touchdown in the UCLA game
  • That game against Washington saw Bachmeier go for 95 yards, a season-high
  • His second touchdown of the season came on a 41-yard strike in the 126th Big Game
  • Ran in a 14-yard score against No. 17 Notre Dame for his first career rushing touchdown
  • Finished his collegiate debut at Hawai'i with three receptions, tied for the second most among Cardinal receivers in their collegiate debuts (Sept. 1)
  • Awarded the team's Outstanding Freshman Award

  • Played at Murrieta Valley High School in Murrieta, Calif. for head coach George Wilson
  • A four-star recruit by Rivals and 247Sports
  • Ranked No. 28 in California by 247Sports and No. 30 by Rivals
  • As a wide receiver, ranked No. 44 nationally by 247Sports and No. 57 by Rivals
  • Also competed in robotics, as a pole vaulter, and a member of the track and field team at Murrieta Valley
  • In his senior season, ranked as the top receiver in California and 10th-best in the nation
  • Holds three top-20 laurels in the California State record book: No. 12 in career yards (3,958), No. 14 in receptions (238) and No. 20 in career touchdowns (40)
  • Averaged 104.2 yards/per game and 16.6 yards/catch in his high school career
  • Recorded six career kickoff return touchdowns

  • Started an a capella club at Murrieta with his brother, Bear
