The 2022 season is the sixth for Patrick Moynahan with the Cardinal program. He works with the edge players after previously assisting with the defensive line.
Prior to his arrival on The Farm, Moynahan spent four seasons at Kenyon while leading the Lords’ linebacker corps. Moynahan also served as an assistant coach with Kenyon's track and field team.
He played four seasons at Davidson and was a two-time All-Pioneer League selection. As a senior in 2012, he set school records in single-season (122) and single-game (22) tackles.
Through four years at Davidson, Moynahan started in 33 straight games at middle linebacker and earned three varsity letters. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in classics.
