No. 3 Cardinal set to take on No. 5 Fordham at Santa Clara

STANFORD, Calif. - The No. 3 Cardinal is taking on a top-five opponent for the fourth time in six games, heading to Santa Clara for a neutral-site game against No. 5 Fordham.

Stanford enters at 11-4 on the season, fresh off a weekend that saw the team top then-No. 2 California and No. 6 UC Davis.

Fordham enters the weekend 16-1 on the season, coming off a 32-1 season in 2024 that saw the Rams advance to the NCAA Championship semifinal.

The game starts at 1:00 p.m. PT at Santa Clara's Sullivan Aquatic Center, and will be streamed on Overnght. 


VET IN THE CAGE » Temkin returns in the cage after a Second Team All-America and First Team All-MPSF season in 2024. The senior stopped a season-high 16 shots in the overtime loss to USC last month, and boasts 121 saves in 15 games this season.

NO SOPHOMORE SLUMP » The sophomore class has been key to the Cardinal's success in 2025, accounting for four of the top six point contributors on the team. Botond Balogh has been dominant to start the season, leading the team in points (72), goals (45) and assists (27). Fellow sophomore Ben Forer is not far behind in all three categories, with 62 points on 39 goals and 23 assists.
