Women's Basketball Schedule Takes Shape

Cardinal unveils 2025-26 nonconference slate

STANFORD, Calif. – Back-to-back-to-back December games against Tennessee, Oregon and Washington highlight the 2025-26 Stanford women’s basketball nonconference schedule, which was unveiled in full on Tuesday.

Tip times and broadcast information along with Stanford’s ACC schedule will be released in the coming weeks. Women’s basketball season ticket memberships, starting at $215, are now available for the 2025-26 season. Stanford’s nonconference slate peaks when it hosts Tennessee on Wednesday, December 3 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge. Following a customary break for final exams, the Cardinal will face a pair of former Pac-12 foes, hosting Washington on Friday, December 19 before a trip to Chase Center to meet Oregon in the Invisalign® Bay Area Women’s Classic on Sunday, December 21.

The season kicks off with four straight at home and starts with an exhibition against Cal State LA on Wednesday, October 29. The Cardinal will follow that up with regular-season games against UNC Greensboro (Monday, November 3), Santa Clara (Thursday, November 6) and Cal Poly (Sunday, November 9).

The following weekend, Stanford will make a trip to Eastern Washington for games at Washington State (Friday, November 14) and Gonzaga (Sunday, November 16) before returning home for dates against UC Davis (Thursday, November 20) and Lehigh (Sunday, November 23) prior to Thanksgiving.

Over the holiday weekend, the Cardinal will be in Las Vegas for the Resorts World Classic to play FGCU on Friday, November 28 and Colorado State on Saturday, November 29.

Stanford’s nonconference slate concludes with a home game against Cornell on Sunday, December 28.

The Cardinal’s second season in the ACC will feature conference home games against California, Clemson, Duke, Louisville, Notre Dame, SMU, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest and road contests against the Golden Bears, Boston College, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Pittsburgh and Syracuse.

Stanford returns 10 letterwinners to the squad, including All-ACC second team selection Nunu Agara, the team’s leading scorer and rebounder from a season ago. Joining Agara and the Cardinal are five standout freshmen that comprise the nation’s third-ranked recruiting class in McDonald’s All-Americans Hailee SwainLara Somfai and Alexandra Eschmeyer, along with four-star talents Nora Ezike and Carly Amborn.
