Ruby Sorra and Taylor Wilson Named MPSF Pair of the Week

STANFORD, Calif. -- Sophomore Ruby Sorra and senior Taylor Wilson have been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Pair of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon. 

The duo had a stellar weekend in Baton Rouge, La., earning straight-set wins over the No. 2 pairs from No. 2 TCU, No. 7 Florida State, No. 8 Texas and No. 11 LSU. In eight matches paired together in the 2025 campaign, the two have a flawless record of 8-0 with a 2-0 mark at the 1s and 6-0 ledger at the 2s. With their four wins over the weekend, the duo became the second-winningest pair in program history with 33 victories together over the past two seasons.

Stanford now preps to take on a five-match week, welcoming University of San Francisco to The Farm for a single match April 2 before traveling to Laguna Beach, Calif. to compete in Long Beach State's Best of the West tournament April 4-5. The Cardinal is set to take on No. 4 USC, host No. 9 Long Beach State, No. 16 North Florida and No. 19 Washington throughout its two-day trip to Southern California.
