STANFORD, Calif. – Juliette Dhalluin’s season-high four goals paced a dominating offensive attack as No. 1 Stanford overpowered No. 18 San Jose State 20-4 on Sunday afternoon at Avery Aquatic Center.
Completing a weekend homestand sweep, Stanford (15-0, 2-0 MPSF) maintained its streak of scoring at least 10 goals in every game this season.
Remaining unbeaten in three matches at home, Stanford is off to its fourth 15-0 start in school history and first since a 16-0 debut in 2023.
Dhalluin was one of 11 different players to score for the Cardinal, which also received two-goal performances from Jenna Flynn, Maggie Hawkins, Amber Nowaczek and Sophia Sanders. Following a hat trick yesterday against Harvard, Dhalluin closed out the weekend with seven goals on 10 attempts to go along with three assists.
Stanford’s air-tight defense limited San Jose State to four goals on 21 attempts and a 1-of-6 mark on the power play.
The Cardinal led 4-1 after the first period and 10-2 at halftime before scoring five goals in each of the final two quarters.
Ella Woodhead’s goal at the 3:24 mark of the second period put Stanford into double digits.
Nowaczek closed out the scoring with one second remaining in regulation, finding a crease after a delivery from Makenna Stretz.
Stanford travels to SoCal next weekend, facing USC on Saturday, March 29 before visiting Long Beach State on Sunday, March 30. Both games are 1 p.m. starts.
