STANFORD, Calif. – Ryann Neushul and Jenna Flynn scored four goals apiece to power No. 1 Stanford to a 16-5 victory over Harvard on Saturday afternoon at Avery Aquatic Center.

Playing only its second home match and returning to the pool for the first time in two weeks, Stanford (14-0, 1-0 MPSF) looked crisp and efficient offensively and defensively.

Neushul scored four goals on nine attempts, completing her hat trick 56 seconds before halftime on the 200th goal of her career. A member of three NCAA championship teams and a three-time ACWPC All-American in her seventh season on The Farm, Neushul added another score in the fourth period and ranks eighth all-time on the Cardinal’s all-time career scoring list (201).

Flynn’s four goals increased her team-leading total to 35, as the Cardinal maintained its streak of scoring at least 10 goals in every game this season.

Eight different players found the net for Stanford, which also received a hat trick and an assist from Juliette Dhalluin. Neushul and Jewel Roemer both chipped in with two assists.

Stanford built a 6-0 lead after the first quarter and took a commanding 11-1 advantage at halftime.

Christine Carpenter finished with four saves in goal.

The Cardinal returns to action tomorrow, hosting No. 18 San Jose State at 1 p.m.
