- Top-ranked Stanford women’s golf participates in its final team tournament before the ACC Championship with the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate on March 24-25.
- Colonial Country Club is the location of this year’s Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate, hosted by TCU. It is at the same course as the Charles Schwab Challenge on the PGA Tour, the longest-running PGA tournament.
- The course plays as a par-72 at 6,092 yards. The first 36 holes of stroke play will take place on March 24, with the final 18 holes on March 25.
- Stanford will also send Andrea Revuelta and Leigh Chien to the Silicon Valley Showcase to compete as individuals. The Silicon Valley Showcase will also run from March 24-25 and takes place at Green Hills Country Club in Millbrae.
- Eleven of the fifteen teams in this year’s field are ranked inside the top 25 of the most recent Clippd rankings: Stanford (1), Oregon (3), USC (5), Texas (7), Wake Forest (9), Vanderbilt (15), TCU (16), Texas A&M (17), Auburn (18), Mississippi State (19), and Arizona (20). This is the most ranked teams in a field that Stanford has competed in this season.
- Stanford has finished all but two rounds of stroke play in first place during the 2024-25 season. Both of those instances were first rounds during 36 holes of golf on one day.
- Most recently, the Cardinal won its third Juli Inkster Invitational in a row, beating Oregon by eight strokes. Stanford got better each round, with team scores of 6-under, 11-under, and 12-under to finish at 835 (-29).
- Paula Martín Sampedro won her second tournament of the season, finishing in a tie for first place with two other golfers. She went 67-70-66-203 for the lowest tournament (13-under) of her collegiate career. She also became the 12th Cardinal in program history to win multiple tournaments in a career and the first to win multiple within one season since Rose Zhang during the 2022-23 season.
- With Martín Sampedro’s second individual win of the season, Stanford has claimed four individual wins from three golfers.
- Three other Stanford golfers finished inside the top 10 at the Juli Inkster Invitational: Kelly Xu (4th), Megha Ganne (7th), and Meja Örtengren (tied for 10th). Xu was just one stroke back of the win, finishing at 12-under.
- Already in the 2025 spring portion of the season, Stanford has posted its third (31-under – San Diego State Classic) and fourth (29-under – Juli Inkster Invitational) tournament scores in program history.
- Going back to the 2024 Pac-12 Championship, Stanford has won eight consecutive stroke play tournaments, the longest streak in the NCAA since USC won eight straight from 2013-14.
