STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford senior and Senior National Team member Taylor Burkhart will compete in his first international assignment of the year for Team USA at the 2025 Antalya World Cup on March 20-23.
Originally assigned to Cardinal teammate Asher Hong, Burkhart steps in and will represent the Stars and Stripes alongside Brandon Dang, Jayla Hang, Patrick Hoopes, and Claire Pease. The Arvada, Colo., native is slated to compete on floor exercise, vault, and high bar.
Qualification rounds will take place on March 20-21, where the top eight in each event will advance to the finals round. Floor exercise and vault finals will be held on March 22, with the high bar event finals to follow on March 23. Streaming options are available on figtv.sport.
The 2025 Antalya World Cup is the third leg of the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) World Cup Series, following Cottbus, Germany (Feb. 20-23) and Baku, Azerbaijan (March 6-9). The World Cup Series will head to Osijek, Croatia (April 10-13), Doha, Qatar (April 16-19), and Cairo, Egypt (April 25-28) later this Spring.
Burkhart is a multiple-time USA Senior National Team member, most recently rejoining the team after a fourth-place all-around effort at the 2025 Winter Cup. He joined a list of nine past, present, and future Cardinal to be named to the National Team this cycle, including Asher Hong, Junnosuke Iwai, Riley Loos, Brody Malone, Kiran Mandava, Kai Uemura, Colt Walker, and Khoi Young.
