STANFORD, Calif. - While the collegiate season takes a bit of a break, the Cardinal are staying busy as seven current and former Stanford gymnasts are set to compete at the 2025 Winter Cup in Louisville, Ky., on February 21-23.
Vying for U.S. National Team spots this weekend will be the group of Jeremy Bischoff, Taylor Burkhart, Riley Loos, Kiran Mandava, Brandon Nguyen, Kai Uemura, and Colt Walker.
Qualification rounds will begin on Friday at 3 p.m. PT, with all-around and event finals wrapping up on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. PT. Once competition wraps, National Team placements and international competition assignments will be determined.
National Team positions earned at the Winter Cup will be held through the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships in early August. Stanford previously had six representatives on the U.S. National Team, with Bischoff and Walker being joined by Asher Hong, Brody Malone, Curran Phillips and Khoi Young. Mandava and Uemura were also selected on the U.S. Senior Development Team last cycle.
All competition coverage for this weekend's Winter Cup action will stream live on the official USA Gymnastics YouTube channel, with live scoring available on myusagym.com.
