Wagner Secures MPSF Honor

Named Offensive Player of the Week

STANFORD, Calif. – Opposite Moses Wagner has been selected the Offensive Player of the Week in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) for the first time in his career.

Wagner averaged 5.50 kills per set on .383 hitting and 5.75 points per set as the Cardinal split a pair of sweeps with No. 5 Ball State last week. The junior recorded a team-best 14 kills on .345 hitting and three digs in the loss on Friday. He followed up with a career-high 19 kills on .419 hitting, an ace and a block in a sweep over the Cardinals.

The Cardinal hits the road this week, traveling to Austin, Texas for the First Point Collegiate Challenge. No. 11 Stanford will face No. 13 Ohio State on Friday at 5 p.m. PT and No. 14 Penn State on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
