STANFORD, Calif. - Preparing for its first season in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Stanford announced its 2025 baseball schedule – a slate that includes 29 home games from Sunken Diamond.
The current 49-game ledger features 24 contests against 2024 NCAA Tournament teams – including three-game ACC sets on the road against 2024 College World Series qualifiers North Carolina and NC State.
Having reached the College World Series in three of the last four years, Stanford will host a pair of exhibition games this fall – welcoming San Jose State (November 2) and Cal Poly (November 9) to The Farm.
Continuing a long-standing tradition, Stanford will begin the 2025 season against Cal State Fullerton – traveling to Goodwin Field for a four-game set spanning February 14-17.
Stanford’s home opener will feature another familiar foe as former Pac-12 opponent Washington will travel back to Stanford for four games from February 21-24.
Stanford’s final nonconference tune-up before the start of ACC play will pit the Cardinal against Xavier in a four-game series, including a doubleheader on March 1.
ACC play begins March 7 with a three-game series on the road at North Carolina before Stanford returns home to host Duke from March 14-16 for three.
Shifting its long-time rivalry into the ACC, Stanford will welcome California to The Farm March 21-23.
The Cardinal will also host Georgia Tech (April 4-6), Notre Dame (April 18-20) and Wake Forest (April 25-27) in ACC play.
In addition to the set at North Carolina, road conference series will include Virginia (March 27-29), Clemson (April 11-13), Boston College (May 2-4) and NC State (May 15-17).
So far, the Cardinal has secured home midweek games against Santa Clara (April 1), UC Davis (April 21) and Sacramento State (April 28), while playing on the road at Santa Clara on May 6.
With a weekend off from ACC play May 9-11, Stanford has filled the void with a home three-game series against Grand Canyon.
The ACC Tournament is scheduled for May 20-25 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, N.C. The tournament features a 12-team pool-play format with the top team from each pool advancing to the semifinals for single-elimination bracket play.
