SEATTLE – The No. 7 Cardinal fell 3-1 at No. 8 Washington this afternoon, moving to 38-11 on the season and 14-6 in Pac-12 play.
Washington went ahead in the bottom of the second, scoring twice to make it 2-0.
The Cardinal got on the board in the top of the sixth, with sophomore Kyra Chan driving in a run with an RBI single to make it 2-1.
The Huskies added another run in the bottom half of the inning, by way of a solo home run.
Krause finished the game with three runs in six innings, striking out three and allowing six hits.
The Card and Huskies will finish the series tomorrow at noon, with the game broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.
