PHILADELPHIA - Stanford was well represented at the 2024 CSA Individual National Championships, highlighted by senior Si Yi Ma and freshman Madison Ho each earning All-American honors. As a team, the Card was awarded the Chaffee Award, which is given to the program whose team most demonstrates the qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, character and improvement.
Ma earns the honors for the third-straight season, after finishing 1-1 in the Ramsay Cup draw. Ma fell to Marina Stefanoni of Harvard, who went on to finish second in the tournament. Ho, competing in her first collegiate season, went 3-1 to win the Ramsay Cup's consolation bracket. Ho won 11-5, 10-12, 14-12, 6-11, 11-9 in a five-set battle for the final.
Also competing at the individual tournament were Khushi Kukadia, Yuvna Gupta, Lucia Bicknell and Mariana Narvaez Dardon in the Holleran Cup. All four advanced out of their respective regional rounds of 16, each going 1-1.
