DUBLIN, Ireland - Ava Brosnan has been invited to the Women's National Team Training Camp at the end of October, Ireland Lacrosse announced over the weekend. The Stanford freshman will be working to earn a spot on the Senior National Team ahead of the 2024 European Championship.
Brosnan was capped for the Ireland Lacrosse U21 Women's National team at the U21 European Championship earlier this year. She finished the tournament ranked 2nd overall in total points (21 goals, 4 assists), 1st in goals (21), and 6th in draw control wins (67%).
Player candidates are vying for roster spots on the Senior Women's National Team and the Under 20 Women's National Team. Both teams will compete in Championship events during Summer 2024.
The Irish Senior Team will head to Braga, Portugal for the European Championship, 10-20 July 2024.
