STANFORD, Calif. - Freshman Toran O'Harran and junior Ryan Bruno each totaled five strikeouts, but the No. 2 Stanford Cardinal fell to the Santa Clara Broncos 10-5 on Tuesday.
The loss snapped a seven-game win streak for the Cardinal.
In addition to his five strikeouts, O'Harran tossed two shutout innings without giving up a hit and walking three for Stanford (9-3). Freshman Trevor Moore (0-1) got the start and took the loss after allowing one run over an inning of work.
Santa Clara jumped out to an early 3-0 lead with three runs in the second, and eventually stretched the advantage to 10-0 after six.
Stanford's offense was held without a hit through one out in the seventh. Drew Bowser broke up the no-hit bid with an infield single before Eddie Park and Carter Graham each added run-scoring singles to cap a five-run frame.
Santa Clara used six pitchers, starting with right-hander Jared Feikes. Feikes (1-0) threw four shutout frames and struck out three.

Stanford will begin Pac-12 play on Friday when it opens a three-game series at USC.
