- Stanford's last efforts on the water saw the Cardinal top both California and UC Irvine Saturday, April 9, competing at Redwood Shores. The Cardinal opened the day by taking on the Golden Bears, topping its Bay-Area foe with a time of 6:43.00. Following the victory over Cal, Stanford took on UC Irvine and earned a decisive victory, crossing the finish line almost forty seconds ahead of the Anteaters.
- The Cardinal opened its season in San Diego, winning the competition for the Cal Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic March 26-27. Stanford's time in prelims of 6:55.680 topped 13 other collegiate programs including 2021 NCAA Championships competitor Gonzaga. The Cardinal continued its success on the water in the Grand Final Sunday, finishing with a time of 6:42.827, 13 seconds better than its prelims mark.
