OMAHA, Neb. – There was plenty of movement for Stanford women's swimming and diving, Thursday at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
Regan Smith took second (2:06.99) in the 200m fly to earn a spot on the Olympic team in a second event – she won the 100m back earlier in the week.
In the 200m breast, Allie Raab reached the finals with a sixth-place showing in 2:26.68 in the semifinals.
Simone Manuel, Torri Huske and Zoe Bartel also reached the semifinals of their respective events. Manuel and Huske finished 9-10 in the 100m free semifinals and will be the reserves of the finals. Bartel was 14th in the semifinal of the 200m breast.
The Cardinal will be represented tomorrow in the prelims of the 800m free and 200 back, and the finals of the 200m breast.
