STANFORD, Calif. — Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football David Shaw and Stanford Football announced the addition of four student-athletes to the Stanford Football program on Wednesday, bringing the total class to 26 newcomers. The class is ranked in the Top 25 nationally and third in the Pac-12 Conference.
The class consists of 14 who are ranked as four-star recruits or better, including 13 high school All-Americans.
In total, Stanford added 14 offensive players, 10 on the defensive side of the ball and two specialists.
On Wednesday, the Cardinal added four-star offensive tackle James Pogorelc, three-stars in defensive end Lance Keneley and safety Scotty Edwards, as well as defensive tackle Zephron Lester.
In December, Stanford added an impressive group of 22 student-athletes.
Although not included in the 26-person class, QB Tanner McKee (a 2018 signee) signed in December from Brazil, where he is currently in the second year of his LDS mission.
In total, the class represents 14 different states, led by nine from the state of California. There were two from each of Alabama, Georgia, Oregon and Washington and one from each of Florida, Hawaii, Kansas, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Utah and Virginia.
