FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – After two days of competition and the completion of seven of 21 events, Stanford is in first place with 504 points at the Pac-12 Championships. Cal and USC round out the top-three, with 437 and 397 points, respectively.

Day two of competition consisted of the preliminaries and finals of the 500-yard freestyle, 200 IM, 50 free and 200 free relay.

In the 500 free final, Morgan Tankersley earned second place with a time of 4:35.99, the fourth fastest time in the country this year. Brooke Forde (4:37.09), Lauren Pitzer (4:37.19) and Erin Voss (4:39.81) finished fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.

Anya Goeders finished third in the 50 frees Finals with a time of 21.91.

In the diving well, Mia Paulsen (325.65) placed second and Carolina Sculti (324.85) placed third in the 1-meter.

To end the day, Stanford's A relay team of Goeders, Pitzer, Amalie Fackenthal and Emma Wheal finished second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:28.32.

Stanford returns to action tomorrow for day three of Pac-12 Championships. Preliminaries for the 400-yard IM, 100 butterfly, 200 free, 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the finals starting at 6 p.m. tomorrow night. In the diving well, 3-meter prelims will begin at 12:15 p.m. followed by the finals in the evening session.
