PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. – Stanford Women's Golf began its spring season on Sunday at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge. The Cardinal, featuring a much-different lineup than they began the season with after heralded seniors Andrea Lee and Albane Valenzuela turned professional this fall, are currently ninth at 10-over. This week's lineup features two freshmen, two sophomores and a senior.

Play was also suspended for approximately 90 minutes early in Sunday's round due to storms that came through the area, and play was also halted due to darkness on Sunday night with the Cardinal still on the course.

Stanford is led by its lone senior in the lineup, Ziyi Wang, who is 1-over. Freshman Angelina Ye and sophomore Aline Krauter are also in the Top 20 at 2-over, through 16 holes. Wang and sophomore Calista Reyes were the only two Cardinal to conclude their rounds on Sunday.
