Who inspires you and why?
My friends and peers. I'm surrounded by amazing people at Stanford, and their intellect and humility inspire me to strive for bigger and better things.
Fun fact?
I was adopted from China when I was 1 and went back to adopt my sister when I was 3.
Favorite Netflix (Hulu, HBOnow, etc.) show or movie?
I have a bad habit of binge-watching television shows that friends recommend. The most recent and memorable show I've watched is Patriot Act. It's a standup act that combines comedy with discussion on real world issues and topics.
Go-to order at a café or coffee house?
Iced almond milk latte with cinnamon sprinkled on top (yes, even when it's freezing outside).
Which celebrity would you want to sit next to on a long flight and why?
Emma Watson. Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood and I looked up to Hermione Granger. Emma Watson's portrayal of her was amazing and she is such a beautiful person. She was the UN Women's Goodwill Ambassador in 2014, and I think it would be great to talk to her about the various things she's done.
Favorite mode of transportation around campus?
Biking around! It's convenient and quick, however, if I'm not in a hurry, I prefer walking because I can appreciate the scenery more.
What is your best childhood memory?
I used to make obstacle courses for my younger sister and her best friend. I had so much fun getting creative with them and loved them try to complete it and compete against each other.
What is your dream job and what makes it so amazing?
One that would allow me to travel the world. I would get to experience different cultures and ways of life, interact with so many amazing people, with assumedly vastly different life experience than mine.
