PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. – No. 4 Stanford begins postseason play on Monday when they travel to Palos Verdes, Calif. for the 2019 Pac-12 Women's Golf Championship at Palos Verdes Golf Club. The 33rd annual championship will be 54 holes – 18 each Monday through Wednesday – and is hosted by No. 2 USC.

"We are excited about going back to Palos Verdes after our win there in February," Margot and Mitch Milias Director of Women's Golf Anne Walker said. "The course will play differently and the wind looks like it will be up, so we are looking forward to the challenge ahead and doing our homework on Sunday so that we are ready come Monday. Andrea obviously has a ton of home course knowledge at Palos Verdes and we will lean on her for that as we prepare."

The Cardinal has posted five top-five finishes, including each of the last four events. The Cardinal has won at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge and the Bruin Wave Invitational. Juniors Andrea Lee (71.38 avg) and Albane Valenzuela (72.44 avg) pace the Cardinal. Lee has posted a pair of wins this season – for eight career – equaling the school record mark of eight shared with Mhairi McKay (1994-97). Valenzuela has one win and three top-10 finishes this season.

The practice round takes place on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. with the tournament starting on Monday. Team pairings for the first day were determines by a blind draw. Pairings for Tuesday and Wednesday will be determined by order of finish from the previous day's round.
