STANFORD, Calif. - No. 5 Stanford resumes conference play this weekend, hosting Arizona State and Arizona to open a four-match homestand at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

The Cardinal (8-1) will have momentum against the Arizona schools this weekend after blanking Oregon 7-0 on the road last weekend in its Pac-12 opener. Three-time defending Pac-12 champion Stanford has now won 28 consecutive regular-season conference matches, with its last loss coming in the form of a 4-3 defeat at Arizona State back on March 5, 2016.

Stanford will have the added benefit of playing its next four on The Farm, where the Cardinal has won 53 of its last 56 contests overall. Included among Stanford's five home wins this season is a 6-1 decision over No. 7 Vanderbilt three weeks ago, which represents one of the Cardinal's three victories against top-20 opponents.

The four-match homestand concludes March 24-25, featuring visits from nonconference foes Hawai'i and UC Davis, respectively.

For the sixth consecutive week, Stanford leads the nation with eight players ranked in singles. No. 17 Emily Arbuthnott (20-4 overall, 7-1 duals) was the first Cardinal player to reach the 20-win mark and has produced a team-high four clinchers. Stanford's hottest player is No. 51 Caroline Lampl (16-6 overall, 7-0 duals), who is riding a nine-match winning streak and stands eight victories shy of 100 for her career.

In doubles, the Cardinal is also well represented with four ranked doubles teams. Lampl and Kimberly Yee (12-4, 6-0 duals) check in at No. 11 while Arbuthnott and Michaela Gordon (8-4 overall, 3-1 duals) round out the top-20 at No. 20.
