STANFORD, Calif. - No. 3 Stanford women's swimming and diving is preparing to celebrate its three seniors in the final home weekend of the season. Ella Eastin, Leah Stevens and Kim Williams will wrap up their collegiate careers at Avery Aquatic Center against UCLA on Friday at 2 p.m., and No. 7 USC on Saturday at noon. Senior Day ceremonies will take place prior to Saturday's meet.

Senior Day CelebrationPrior to the meet on Saturday, Stanford women's swimming and diving will celebrate its three seniors Ella EastinLeah Stevens and Kim Williams


A human biology major from Irvine, California, Ella Eastin is a team captain and two-time Pac-12 Women's Swimmer of the Year. The 2018 NCAA Swimmer of the Meet, Ella has racked up 14 All-America honors, eight Pac-12 titles and 10 national championships. She currently holds four American and NCAA records. In the classroom, she was named CoSIDA First-Team All-America in 2018, earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors in 2017 and 2018. In the near future, Ella plans to attend graduate nursing school to become a nurse practitioner and earn her doctorate in nursing.
 
A human biology major from Louisville, Kentucky, Leah Stevens is a 2018-19 team captain and three-time All-American, including first team honors in the 1650 free each of the last two years. She also ranks among Stanford's all-time top 10 in the 500 free and the 1650 free. In the classroom, she has earned two Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors and was named a Scholar All-American in 2018. After graduation, Leah plans to work as an EMT while applying to medical school. 

A psychology major from Bellevue, Washington, Kim Williams is also a team captain this season. Kim has earned six All-America accolades over her career, including three national titles and three Pac-12 titles. She holds two American and NCAA records as a member of Stanford's 200 and 400 medley relays. Outside of the pool, she is a three-time CSCAA Scholar All-American and two-time Pac-12 All-Academic selection. After graduation, she plans on doing some international travel while applying to law school.  StreaksStanford has won 27 straight dual meets. The Cardinal's last defeat in a dual was to No. 3 Cal on Feb. 14, 2015—which also marks a string of 25 straight Pac-12 dual meet victories since that loss. The Cardinal has also won 17 straight dual meets at home dating back to Oct. 30, 2014 against Texas (156-144).

 Last Time OutIn the last matchup against USC, four Cardinal won multiple events, including three victories from sophomore Katie Ledecky, and Stanford topped the Trojans in Los Angeles, 223-77, on Jan. 27, 2018. A full recap is here.

In the most recent meeting with UCLA, then-freshman Brooke Forde won three individual events to lead Stanford to a 182-110 win at UCLA on Jan. 26, 2018.  A full recap is here.

 Avery AdditionAvery Aquatic Center received a large-sized upgrade during the offseason. The new scoreboard will serve all of Stanford's aquatic sports including the men's and women's swimming and diving programs, both water polo teams and synchronized swimming.

 Championship RingsOnly one team each year gets this moment. Last week, the Cardinal received its NCAA national championship rings, designed by the outgoing seniors. Several of the seniors were able to make it back to campus for the ring ceremony. 

 Freshman FeaturesIn a nine-part Q&A series with the incoming freshmen class, Stanford fans got to know the newest Cardinal. Recognized as the top recruiting class in the country at the time of their signing, the nine new freshmen are comprised of seven swimmers and two divers from eight different states and all four time zones -- Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, New York, Tennessee and Texas.
