DeVine Intervention
Junior Abrahm DeVine (3:35.29), the Pac-12 Swimmer of the Year, became Stanford's first individual national championship since 2015 (David Nolan – 200 IM) with a win in the 400-yard individual medley. It was Stanford's first 400 IM title in 20 years and the second-fastest time in history. DeVine added a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley (1:40.35) and eighth place in the 200-yard backstroke (1:41.99), and was part of Stanford's eighth-place finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay (6:14.75) and 10th-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay. DeVine is a 12-time All-American, with eight of those coming as an individual.

In addition to DeVine, 12 Cardinal were named All-America by the Collegiate Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). DeVine and senior Andrew Liang led Stanford with five apiece, while senior Sam Perry had four, giving him 18 for his career.
