STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Elizabeth Price earned first team All-Pac-12 honors in four events, the conference announced Tuesday.
Named Pac-12 Gymnast of the Year for the second time in her career (2016), Price was recognized in all-around, vault, bars and floor. She has now been honored nine times by the Pac-12 during her four-year career.
In 2017, Price made the first team on bars and vault, and the second team on floor; in 2016, she made the first team in the all-around; and in 2015, she made the first team on vault.
Head coach Tabitha Yim is the only other Cardinal gymnast to claim four first-team All-Pac-12 honors in a season. In 2006, she accomplished it on vault, bars, beam and floor.
Teams are determined by regional qualifying scores, including the regular season, and the Pac-12 Championships. The first team is comprised of the top four all-around finishers and top four finishers in each individual event.
