PHOENIX, Ariz. – An 11-run lead catapulted No. 13 Stanford to its 11th consecutive victory on Saturday night.
Sophomore Duke Kinamon was 5-for-5 with five runs batted in as the Cardinal extended the nation's longest winning streak with a 13-8 victory over Arizona State at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
Stanford (30-12, 13-7 Pac-12) has won 11 straight games and eight consecutive conference games for the first time since 1999.
Stanford built an 11-0 lead with three runs in the first, five in the second and three more in the fourth.
Freshman Daniel Bakst started the offensive onslaught innocently enough. A sacrifice fly got Stanford on the board. But moments later, Kinamon made a statement with a colossal two-run home run to left center.

Sophomore Brandon Wulff started the second with a home run. It was the first of five hits in the inning as the Cardinal batted around. Nico Hoerner added an RBI single, Quinn Brodey brought two home with a double, and Kinamon singled in another for an 8-0 cushion.
Kinamon tallied his fourth RBI in as many innings with a single in the fourth. Senior Jack Klein added a sacrifice fly, and Kinamon touched home for an 11-run lead when Wulff doubled off to left.
Meanwhile, junior Andrew Summerville (3-1), who earned the win with 6.1 innings of work, retired the first nine Sun Devils.
Arizona State (19-24, 6-14) got its first baserunner with a solo shot to lead off the fourth. The Sun Devils added a run in the fifth, a two-run home run in the sixth, and another run in the seventh to close to within 11-5.
However, Kinamon punched another across in the eighth for the Cardinal. He pushed his fifth hit through the left side to bring home Brodey, who set a career high with four runs on a 3-for-4 night.
Junior Matt Winaker tacked on a run-scoring single in the ninth, and the Cardinal held off the Sun Devils, who had scored three in the eighth to get within four.
NUMBERS…
Wulff was 2-for-4 with two RBI, a run and a walk, while Maverick Handley finished 2-for-5 with two runs. Kinamon also added a pair of runs, and Brodey finished with two RBI.
Summerville struck out three and surrendered five runs on eight hits. Senior Tyler Thorne allowed a run in one inning of work, while junior Keith Weisenberg induced a big double play in the seventh.

Senior Chris Castellanos is slated as the Sunday starter for the series finale at 12:30 p.m.
The Cardinal returns home on Tuesday for head coach Mark Marquess final midweek game at Sunken Diamond. Naturally, it occurs on the 9th of May. All ticket prices are set at 1977 prices in honor of "Nine" and his first season as head coach of the Cardinal.
