STANFORD, Calif. - Head Coach Mark Marquess has reached his penultimate home series on The Farm. No. 18 Stanford hosts No. 13 Arizona for a three-game set at Sunken Diamond, Thursday-Saturday. The first two games can be seen on Pac-12 Networks.

» In Arizona's last visit to The Farm, Stanford was swept by a tennis score of 6-5, 6-4, 6-Love.
» Stanford beat Arizona, 9-2, during the 1985 College World Series in the teams' only postseason meeting. Stanford eliminated the Wildcats, before bowing out of the tournament with a 10-4 loss to Arkansas in its next game.

 Moving UpHock Climbs the Record Books
»  Junior reliever Colton Hock moved into sole possession of second place on Stanford's all-time career saves list with his 18th on Friday. He passed Matt Manship (2003-06) and Scott Weiss (1988-91) and trails only Steve Chitren, who holds the school record with 26 saves. Chitren recorded the final out for both of Stanford's national titles.
»  Hock's nine saves this year is tied for fourth-most in program history, and is the most for a Stanford pitcher in 14 years (Matt Manship finished with nine in 2003). Only two Cardinal have recorded double-digit saves in a season—Jeff Bruksch in 2000 (13) and Chitren in 1987 (13) and 1988 (10).

» Junior Matt Winaker is leading the conference with an .775 slugging percentage and 11 walks in Pac-12 play this year and is second with a .519 on-base percentage.

» Freshman Daniel Bakst's nine-game hitting streak came to an end on Tuesday. It immediately followed his 11-game hitting streak (March 12-April 6)—the longest of the year for Stanford. He has a hit in 20 of the last 22 games, and in his career where he has at least three at-bats he has a hit in all but two.
» Matt Winaker has a seven-game hit streak, and Duke Kinamon has a hit in six straight. 
» Winaker has played in 104 straight games. The last time he did not enter Coach Marquess' lineup was April 28, 2015 vs. SJSU). 
» Junior Quinn Brodey has started 100 consecutive games for the Cardinal — last time he was not in starting lineup was May 5, 2015 vs. Santa Clara.

Back-2-Back
» Junior Quinn Brodey earned back-to-back Pac-12 Baseball Player of the Week honors on March 7 and March 14. Brodey was the first player to win the award in back-to-back weeks since Washington State's Brian Wolfe in 2014, and the first Stanford player to do so since Jon Schaeffer in 1997. 
» The week prior, Brodey was named Player of the Week, while roommate and junior reliever Colton Hock was named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week. Brodey had walk offs in two straight games and the game-winning RBI in three consecutive games—all in 24 hours —to lead Stanford to a four-game series win over Texas. Both walk offs came with two outs. In that same 24-hour span, Hock went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 5.0 innings, including a win in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader and a save in the nightcap.

» Only five NCAA coaches have reached 1,600 career wins, only four have been Division I coaches, and only three have done it at one school. Coach Marquess is a member of each of those exclusive clubs after an 8-4 win over arch rival Cal at Sunken Diamond on April 4.
» Augie Garrido (1,975 wins at five schools), Mike Martin (1,917 wins and counting at Florida State), Gordie Gillespie (1,893 wins in Division III) and Gene Stephenson (1,768 wins at Wichita State) are the only coaches to reach the milestone.

Last Weekend» Stanford earned its first Pac-12 road sweep since 2014, and became the first Pac-12 team to sweep Oregon at PK Park since 2011. The Cardinal scored in the first inning in all three games and never trailed in the series.
» On Friday, Kris Bubic outdueled one of the hottest pitchers in the nation. The Cardinal touched up David Peterson for four runs and then held on to win, 4-3, behind 2.2 scoreless innings in relief from junior closer Colton Hock.
» In the middle game, Nico Hoerner finished a triple shy of the cycle. He was 4-for-5 with four runs and an RBI. Stanford led 4-2 midway through and broke the game open with four runs in the seventh. Oregon brought up the tying run in the ninth, but Stanford held on, 8-5.
» On Sunday, Mikey Diekroeger tied a career high with four hits, and Hoerner added three more as Stanford jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one, led 8-3 in the seventh, and won 10-4.
