STANFORD, Calif. – The second-ranked Cardinal men's gymnastics team is set to host its annual Stanford Open this weekend, which runs Friday through Sunday with the NCAA Session featuring the Cardinal, No. 8 California and Washington at 7 p.m. (PT) on Saturday at Burnham Pavilion.

The Cardinal is coming off a dominant 318.100 to 403.150 win over No. 8 California last weekend in Stanford's season opener. The Cardinal was flawless on the day, sweeping the individual and team event titles.
Akash Modi led the way for the Cardinal, collecting the all-around, pommel horse and parallel bar titles.

It also proved to be a huge day for several other Cardinal, with collegiate debuts for David Jessen, Connor Lewis, Bailey Perez and Joey Ringer for freshmen. Also making a debut was Barrett Weiss who floored a phenomenal 14.700 on vault to take the event title.

Robert Neff added a career day with an event title in high bar for a 14.600, which also leads the NCAA.

The Cardinal will live stream the NCAA Session on Saturday, which fans can find here.
