STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford will compete at the NCAA Championships for the ninth time in the past 10 years, and 16th time overall, as it heads to Fort Worth, Texas, this weekend.
The Cardinal competes in the first of two six-team semifinal groups on Friday at 11 a.m. (PT) at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The top three teams from each semifinal will advance to the Super Six team finals on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Stanford is seeking its eighth Super Six berth since 2002. The Cardinal is one of seven teams in the nation to make at least seven Super Six appearances in the past 14 years (2002-14).
All sessions of the NCAA Championships will be broadcast live on ESPNU. Fans can also watch individual feeds of each individual event in their entirety on WatchESPN.com.

• Team is competing in its 16th NCAA Championship meet.
• Has reached the Super Six seven times.
• Most recent Super Six appearance was 2015 (fifth place).

• Tabitha Yim has the most first-team All-America honors in school history, with 13 from 2005-08.

Super Six Experience
• Stanford has six gymnasts who were part of the lineups that competed in the 2015 NCAA Super Six finals in Fort Worth, Texas, on the Cardinal’s fifth-place team. They are: Ivana Hong, Danielle McNair, Nicolette McNair, Elizabeth Price, Taylor Rice and Haley Spector.
• Hong also competed at the 2012 NCAA Championships in Duluth, Georgia, helping Stanford place fourth.

Consistently One of the Best in the Country
• Stanford is one of seven teams in the nation to make at least seven Super Six appearances in the past 14 years (2002-15). (Alabama-13, Utah-11, Georgia-10, UCLA-9, Florida-9, Stanford-7, Nebraska-7)
• Stanford returns to the NCAA Championships for the 13th time in the past 16 years this season.
Stanford at the 2015 NCAA Championships
• Stanford returned to the NCAA Championships for the 12th time in the past 15 years, six gymnasts combined for nine All-America honors and the Cardinal finished fifth at the NCAA Championships with a 197.250 – the team’s second-highest score ever at an NCAA Championships competition.
• The Cardinal really hit its stride at the NCAA Championships, posting a 197.175 in the semifinals to finish third and qualify to the Super Six. Stanford topped its score with a 197.250 in the finals to place fifth in the nation.
• Stanford was well represented in All-America honors with Price, Hong, Taylor Rice, Samantha Shapiro, Nicolette McNair and Rebecca Wing combining for nine awards.
• The weekend was capped by Price winning the vault national title at the NCAA Championships Individual Event Finals. Price scored 9.9333 to become the second Cardinal gymnast in program history to claim a national title on vault, joining Larissa Fontaine who earned the championship in 1998 with a 9.8625. Price’s vault score is the highest of any Stanford gymnast all-time at the individual event finals.

Four Named All-Pac-12
• The Cardinal was well-represented on the All-Pac-12 team with Elizabeth Price (all-around) and Melissa Chuang (beam) named to the first team, and Taylor Rice (all-around) and Ivana Hong (beam) earning second team honors.
• It is the fourth all-conference honor for Hong, second for Rice and Price, and the first for Chuang.

Super Six in the Classroom
• Six Stanford gymnasts earned Pac-12 All-Academic recognition, including Jenna Frowein (architecture) who claimed her third consecutive first-team honor. Honorable mention selections included Melissa Chuang (international relations), Rachel Daum (human biology), Ivana Hong (human biology and sociology), Taylor Rice (international relations) and Haley Spector (human biology).
