Seven Academic Awardees

STANFORD, Calif. – Seven Stanford women's basketball student-athletes received recognition from the conference for their combined work in the classroom and on the court when the Pac-12 announced its women's basketball All-Academic teams on Thursday morning.

Kaylee Johnson landed on the Pac-12 All-Academic second team while Brittany McPhee, Erica McCall, Karlie Samuelson, Lili Thompson, Briana Roberson and Kailee Johnson each earned a spot on the Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention squad.

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average, at least one year of enrollment at the institution and be a starter or significant contributor. True freshmen are not eligible for Pac-12 All-Academic teams.

It's the first league academic award for sophomores Kaylee Johnson and McPhee and junior Kailee Johnson. McCall, Samuelson, Thompson and Roberson each picked up their second such honor from the Pac-12.
