Bounce-Back Victory

TEMPE, Ariz. - No. 13 Stanford bounced back from a rare losing streak with a 6-1 victory against No. 24 Arizona State on Friday.

Navigating through its first stretch of four consecutive road matches since 2012, Stanford (10-4, 3-2 Pac-12) captured the doubles point and booked five singles wins.

The Cardinal looked sharp on Friday, with Ellen Tsay and Caroline Doyle surrendering six games combined over their two victories for a 3-0 lead.

Krista Hardebeck provided the clincher, taking down Joanna Smith 6-3, 6-3.
