COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – One day after Kristian Ipsen won his third straight title in the 3-meter at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships, the Stanford junior duplicated the feat in the 1-meter.
Ipsen’s 855.10 copped him the crown Friday for the third time in as many seasons, as he was one of four Cardinal to finish in the top 10 of the event at Air Force’s Cadet Natatorium.
Arizona’s Rafael Quintero (776.35) finished between Ipsen and third-place Bradley Christensen (755.30). Connor Kuremsky (743.90) took fifth and Noah Garcia rounded out the top 10 with a 662.10.
The platform portion wraps up the three-day meet on Saturday. Ipsen is the defending champion in the event.
