As a junior in 2002: Second Team Academic All-Pac-10 member ... Appeared 59 games for the Cardinal, with 58 starts ... Played six different positions throughout the season (pitcher, second base, shortstop, third base, outfield, designated player) ... Named Pac-10 Pitcher of the Week for April 1-7 ... Finished with a 16-9 record, 64 strikeouts and a 2.43 ERA in 158.2 innings pitched ... Hit .208 for the season (32-154) with six doubles, one home run and 16 RBI ... Recorded seven multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI contests ...
