COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - At last year's NCAA Zone Diving Championships, Kristian Ipsen swept the 1- and 3-meter springboard events.
At this year's Pac-12 Conference Diving Championships, Ipsen swept the 1- and 3-meter springboard events.
And now at this year's NCAA Zone Diving Championships, Ipsen swept the 1- and 3-meter springboard diving events.
Ipsen penned another line to his growing resume with a 913.15 to win the 3-meter Friday at Air Force's Cadet Natatorium, one day after copping the same honor in the 1-meter at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships. Ipsen left little doubt by out-doing second-place Harrison Jones (837.65) of Arizona State.
Even more, Ipsen was joined in the finals by teammates Noah Garcia (4th - 733.50), Connor Kuremsky (6th - 705.65) and Taylor Sishc (10th - 673.55).
Ipsen went 450.10 to lead after the prelims with Garcia (370.20) standing in third. Kuremsky moved up two spots from his eighth-place 333.70 in the opening round.
The Cardinal divers continue the NCAA Zone Championships with the platform event on Saturday.
