STANFORD, Calif.- Through two rounds of play at the Margaret Branch NCAA Preview in Albuquerque, N.M., Stanford stands in 17th place after shooting a 312 during Tuesday's second round.
Junior Mari Chun is tied for 15th at 145 and stands 1-under-par for the tournament, firing rounds of 69 and 76. Chun is looking for her first top-10 finish of the year, after placing 20th in the Cardinal's opening tournament two weeks ago.
Sophomore Catherina Wang finds herself tied for 39th at 150 (+4) following rounds of 71-79.
Freshman Rebecca Durham bounced back with a 77 on Tuesday after shooting an 81 on Monday and now stands tied for 80th at 158 (+12). Freshman Piper Miller is 84th at 160 (+14) with back-to-back rounds of 80.
Junior Ki-Shui Liao rounded out the scoring for Stanford in 87th with rounds of 82 and 80 for a total of 162 (+16).
