STANFORD, Calif.- Participating in its first tournament of the fall season, Stanford stands in a tie for 12th place after shooting a 5-over-par 293 on the opening day of competition at the Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tenn.

Freshman Rebecca Durham, playing in her first collegiate event, led the Cardinal by carding a 3-under-par 69 on the afternoon to place her in a sixth-place tie on the individual leaderboard.

Junior Mari Chun checked in with a 1-over-par 73 to tie for 35th overall while sophomore Catherina Wang posted a 2-over-par 74 to tie for 49th overall.

Senior Saana Rapakko and freshman Piper Miller both shot a 5-over-par 77, placing them in a tie for 67th overall.

Arizona State leads the field with an 8-under-par 280 on the opening day, placing two golfers among the top five individual scores. UCLA stands in second at 281, followed by Arizona in third at 283, Duke in fourth at 284 and Florida at 285 in fifth.

UCLA's Tiffany Joh leads all individuals with a 7-under-par 65.
