Stanford head coach Jim Harbaugh made his coaching debut at Stanford.

T.C. Ostrander established career-highs in passing yards (331), completions (27) and attempts (59), while tying a career-best with two touchdown passes. His previous highs were 236 passing yards (Oregon State, 11/13/04), 18 completions (Oregon, 10/23/04) and 45 attempts (Oregon State, 11/13/04). He had two touchdown passes twice previously. Ostrander's 331 yards of passing marked the first 300-yard game for a Stanford quarterback since Trent Edwards threw for 303 yards against Arizona State on October 22, 2005.

Richard Sherman recorded his second career 100-yard receiving game (4-100, 1 TD) and has now averaged 101.2 receiving yards per game over his last five contests dating back to the final four games of the 2006 campaign.

Evan Moore had a career-high six catches and tied a career-best with 87 receiving yards. He had five catches on four previous occasions and 87 receiving yards at Washington State on October 16, 2004.

Bo McNally had a career and game-high 15 tackles. His previous career-high was six in each of the team's final two games of the 2006 season versus Oregon State (11/18/06) and at California (12/2/06).

Pat Maynor (10), Wopamo Osaisai (8, tied career-high), Fred Campbell (6) and Levirt Griffin (4) all either established their new career-highs for tackles or equaled them. Maynor's previous career-high was nine at San Jose State (9/9/06), while Osaisai had eight versus Washington State (9/23/06), Campbell had three at Oregon (9/2/06) and Griffin had two twice.

Stanford's 9.0 tackles-for-loss was as many as the Cardinal had recorded since picking up 10.0 against Arizona State on October 22, 2005. Clinton Snyder (2.0), Levirt Griffin (1.5), Erik Lorig (1.5), Pat Maynor (1.0, tied career-high) and Tom McAndrew (1.0) all either established or tied career-bests.

Jim Dray had a career-high 72 receiving yards, while equaling his career-best with four catches. He also had the longest reception of his career (46 yards) and his second career receiving touchdown. His previous bests were 24 receiving yards (three times), while his previous four-reception game came against Navy (9/16/06).

Derek Belch scored his first career points, hitting a 37-yard field goal with 2:58 remaining in the third quarter and both of his extra point attempts.

The 70-yard touchdown pass from T.C. Ostrander to Richard Sherman in the fourth quarter was the second time in their careers that the duo has hooked up for a touchdown pass of at least 70 yards. The two previously connected on a 74-yard TD touchdown pass that was the team's longest play from the line of scrimmage in 2006 in a 20-3 win at Washington.

Stanford's 17 points scored are the most by the Cardinal in six games played at the new Stanford Stadium that opened for the 2006 season. The team's previous best was 10 against Washington State (9/23/06).

A total of nine players made their Stanford debuts, including Chike Amajoyi, Doug Baldwin, Stephen Carr, Blaise Johnson, Owen Marecic, Tyrone McGraw, Marcus Rance, Taylor Skaufel, and Ryan Whalen.

Ben Ladner (3-26), Owen Marecic (1-8) and Doug Baldwin (1-6) all made their first receptions at Stanford, while Tyrone McGraw (2-11) rushed for the first time in his career. Taylor Skaufel (4), Austin Yancy (3), Richard Sherman (1) and Austin Gunder (1) all made their first career tackles. Yancy (2) and Fred Campbell (1) added their first career pass breakups.

Jay Ottovegio punted a career-high 10 times for a career-high 429 yards to record a 42.9 average that marked the 24th time in 35 career games he has punted for an average of 40.0 yards or more per game. Ottovegio also had a 58-yard punt that was one shy of a 59-yarder he booted versus Washington (10/2/04) that is the longest of his career. Ottovegio's previous career-highs in both punts (9) and yardage (378) were set at California (11/20/04).

Jay Ottovegio went over both 200 punts and 8000 yards in his career and now has updated totals of 204 punts for 8297 yards. Ottovegio is within reach of both school records currently held by Kevin Miller (1995-98) with 248 punts for 9973 yards.

Chris Hobbs equaled a career-best with four punt returns. He also had four punt returns versus Oregon State (11/18/06).

Anthony Kimble set new career-highs in both kick returns (8) and kick return yards (150). His previous highs of five returns for 85 yards were recorded at Oregon (9/2/06).

Allen Smith started his 21st consecutive game on the offensive line with the last 20 at offensive tackle.

Stanford lost its fourth straight game to UCLA dating back to the last Cardinal win in the series in 2003.

UCLA's 624 total yards on offense is one yard shy of the 10th-best performance in school history (625-yards vs. Oregon State in 2002.

Tailback Kahlil Bell's 59-yard rush in the end of the first quarter was a career-long. He broke the 100-yard rushing mark for the third time in his career (2005-136 vs. Northwestern; 2006 -102 vs. Rice) and set a new career-high for rushing yards in a game with 195 (previous best, 136 vs. Northwestern in 2005).

Ben Olson's third quarter touchdown pass to Joe Cowan (77-yards) was the longest pass of his career (previous best 46 vs. Utah in 2006). He also set a new his career-high with five touchdown passes.

Wide receiver Joe Cowan set a career-high for touchdowns in a game (2). His third quarter touchdown was the second-longest TD reception of his career (77-yards).

Wide receiver Brandon Breazell equaled his career-high for receptions (6) and receiving yards (111) in a game. He also equaled his career high for touchdowns in a game with two.

Linebacker Reggie Carter notched a career-high for tackles in a game with 10 (old best was 7 vs. ASU in 2006).

Linebacker Aaron Whittington also set a career-high for tackles in a game with 9 (old best was 8 vs. Illinois in 2004.

Linebacker Christian Taylor set a career-high for sacks (2) in a game (previous best, 1, on several occasions).

Placekicker Kai Forbath made his first career field goal in the fourth quarter (39-yards).

Running back Christian Ramirez, a converted safety, scored the first touchdown of his career in the fourth quarter.

Shannon Tevaga (#71, OG) started for the 32nd consecutive game of his career.
