Evan Moore tied a career-high with his two touchdown receptions, equaling the two he picked up the last time the Cardinal played San Jose State in a 43-3 win over the Spartans on September 4, 2004
Stanford's 34 points in the first half were the most the Cardinal had scored since getting 31 in a 45-35 win over Arizona State on October 22, 2005
Toby Gerhart was Stanford's leading rusher for the second consecutive game to began his collegiate career, rushing for a career-high 82 yards on 13 carries after getting 55 yards on 16 carries at Oregon (9/2/06) in his first collegiate game last Saturday ... Gerhart was a two-sport (baseball, football) prep standout at Norco High School (Norco, CA) from 2002-05, rushing for an amazing 9622 yards in his career to set the all-time California high school record and accumulate the third-highest rushing total ever by a high school player in the nation ...
