Angie Jabir is beginning her second year as Executive Associate Athletics Director for Sport Administration since her arrival on The Farm in April 2024. Jabir possesses day-to-day sport oversight of football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, volleyball, women’s soccer, field hockey, wrestling, men’s and women’s gymnastics, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s golf, softball and beach volleyball.
Jabir has been highly instrumental in this newly-created role, helping streamline the department’s approach to sport administration, ensuring a seamless experience for coaches and providing consistency in decision making. Jabir’s leadership in a short amount of time has been especially vital during Stanford’s transition to the ACC for the 2024-25 campaign.
Boasting more than 20 years of experience across many administrative and coaching roles, Jabir previously served as the Senior Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) at Siena College from 2021-24. Jabir also served as the MAAC representative on the NCAA DI Council and spent two years on the NCAA DI Men’s Basketball Oversight Committee.
Prior to her post at Siena, Jabir served in senior athletics administration roles as Deputy Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator at Lynn University from 2019-21 and Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations and Sport Admin at Nova Southeastern from 2017-19.
Jabir began her collegiate administrative career during the final five seasons of an eight-year tenure at Dayton (2009-17), serving in multiple capacities such as Director of Business and Student Services, Assistant Athletics Director, and Associate Athletic Director for Sport Administration. While at Dayton, Jabir established the Women’s Coaching Forum.
Jabir also has experience as a former assistant women’s basketball coach during her time at Dayton, Cleveland State (2006-09) and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (2002-04).
A native of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Jabir earned her B.A. in Speech Communication in 2000 from Eastern Illinois University, where she was a member of the women’s basketball team from 1997-01. Jabir received her Master of Science in Athletic Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2002.
Jabir and her husband, Jim, and son, Jude reside in Palo Alto.
