Prior to Stanford
- Played two seasons at Colorado, appearing in 12 games during his first two collegiate seasons
- Primarily saw time on special teams, also lining up at wide receiver

- Played his high school football for head coach Bruce Rollinson at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif.

- Compiled 51 receptions for 576 yards and four touchdowns in three seasons
- Saw time as Mater Dei’s primary kick and punt returner
- Burst onto the scene as a senior with 46 receptions for 517 yards and all four of his touchdowns
