A career night by Lizzy Andrew led No. 4 Stanford in a 25-17, 25-18, 30-32, 25-15 win over South Florida, Thursday, it its home opener at Maples Pavilion.
Andrew, a junior middle blocker from Ridgefield, Washington, hit a season-high .500 with a career-best 17 kills and a career-high 12 blocks for her first collegiate double-double.
In a complete team effort, No. 4 Stanford defeated Marquette, 25-20, 25-18, 20-25, 25-12, Sunday, in Maples Pavilion.
Stanford (4-0) hit a season-high .307 as a team, while holding Marquette (2-3) to a .171 clip. The Cardinal improves to 4-0 all-time against the Golden Eagles.
