STANFORD, Calif. — Following its fifth top five finish - and its first individual title winner - of the 2025-26 campaign, No. 18 Stanford men’s golf is back in action this week for its second trip to the ACC Men’s Golf Championships from April 23-27. Stanford opens the first round of stroke play on Thursday, April 23 from Shark’s Tooth Golf Club in Panama City, Fla. at 8 a.m. CT.
THE COURSE » Designed by Greg Norman, Shark’s Tooth Golf Club features a mix of pine forest and lake views tucked inside Florida’s largest dune lake, Lake Powell. The par-72 course ranges from the high-5,000’s in yardage up to 7,246 yards at its most challenging. Shark’s Tooth’s undulating greens and deep bunkers offers an exciting treat to begin the postseason push for these collegiate golfers.
THE FIELD » The ACC Men’s Golf Championships feature three top-20 teams with No. 4 Virginia leading the field in front of No. 9 North Carolina and No. 18 Stanford. No. 21 Georgia Tech follows with No. 24 Florida State, No. 27 Duke, No. 29 Notre Dame, No. 31 Wake Forest, No. 32 Clemson, No. 35 Louisville, No. 46 SMU and No. 50 Cal in tow. Also participating is NC State, Virginia Tech and Boston College.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT » The ACC Men’s Golf Championships consists of 54 holes of stroke play from April 23-25 with competition starting at 8 a.m. each day with three rounds of 18 holes played under the play five, keep four format. Match play begins with the quarterfinals on Sunday, April 26 at 8:30 a.m. with the top eight teams battling head-to-head with five pairings looking to secure three team points for the win. Semifinals match play also takes place following the quarterfinals. Finals match play begins on Monday at 10 a.m. All times are central.

THE CARDINAL LINEUP » Stanford brings the same six golfers it had in contention at The Western out to Panama City with No. 59 Jay Leng leading the charge for the Cardinal. No. 79 Dean Greyserman and No. 124 Nathan Wang will also head out to The Sunshine State along with Cooper Stearns, Ethan Gao and Edan Cui.
STANFORD AT ACC’s » Stanford is back in action for its second try at an ACC title after making its first appearance in the conference championship in 2025 with a 13th place finish. Having placed in eighth following the first day, weather delays forced the Cardinal into 27 holes of golf on the final day as the Cardinal turned in a 15-over performance at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Ky., last season. Nathan Wang led the way for Stanford last season with a 2-under finish which placed him tied for 17th overall.
DEAN WINS THE WESTERN » With an 8-under, 62 on the final day, Dean Greyserman not only tied the course record on the final day, but his birdie shot from two feet on the final hole was enough to clinch his first collegiate win as the Cardinal senior shared co-champion honors at the 79th Western Intercollegiate. Greyserman, who ended the tournament at 10-under, clinched a share of the title after second-round-leader Jack Buchanon bogeyed his final hole of the day. As a team, Stanford overcame a tough second round with the second-lowest round by a team during the tournament on the final day shooting 12-under to place tied for 5th overall.
HOME COOKING » Stanford secured its second tournament win of the season just over two weeks ago, turning a one-shot deficit into a four-stroke win on the final day of the 57th annual The Goodwin. Jay Leng led the Cardinal with a collegiate-best third place finish as one of four Stanford golfers who turned in an under-par card on the final day. Dean Greyserman snagged a top-10 finish at 5-under for the tournament while Nathan Wang and Ethan Gao also shot under-par for the tournament to give Stanford its second win of the season and 17th overall at The Goodwin with a 17-under par team showing.
ALL CLASS IN CABO » Jay Leng and Edan Cui headlined the Cardinal down in Cabo as the underclassmen duo slotted inside the top-25 overall at the Cabo Collegiate to start the month of March. Leng rattled off his best round of the tournament in Sunday’s finale to finish 21st overall while Cui surged up the leaderboard to claim a tie for 25th overall. Nathan Wang helped Stanford - which finished ninth overall at 7-over - climb up the leaderboard on the final day as he finished the tournament in 30th. Dean Greyserman and TK Chantananuwat also shot well for the Cardinal in a field that featured 10 ranked competitors.
FEELING PRESTIGIOUS » With high winds cancelling a prospective third round at PGA West, Stanford’s three-shot lead after two rounds proved the difference as the Cardinal earned its first tournament win since 2024. Stanford, which ended the tournament at 5-under, grabbed solid performances across two rounds with Dean Greyserman and TK Chantananuwat earning co-medalist honors in a four-way tie for second place individually. Edan Cui and Nathan Wang also earned top-20 placements during the tournament while nearby at the Prestige Individual, Kush Arora and Ethan Gao took the top two finishes, respectively, in a monumental week for the Cardinal.
CAREER BEST’S AT MAUNA LANI » Five golfers finished with career-bests as Stanford - which shot a total 56-under for a total of 808 - securing the second lowest below-par tournament score in program history with fifth place finish at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate. Nathan Wang secured his second top-10 finish while also nabbing a new tournament low. Alongside Wang, Edan Cui, Jay Leng, Kush Arora, and Dean Greyserman all secured new career, tournament-low scores as the Cardinal rewrote the record book for lowest round score (-27, 261) in the first round and earned a top-five spot among one of the nation’s prominent fields.
VINTAGE CLUB DUB » Stanford avenged last season’s loss to Texas A&M at the Hideaway Shootout with a clinical 7-1 victory over the No. 31 Aggies two weeks ago at the Vintage Club Shootout in Indian Wells, Calif. The Cardinal earned three 3&2 wins with Ethan Gao, TK Chantananuwat and Kush Arora securing three points for the Cardinal in dominant fashion. Nathan Wang, Dean Greyserman and Cooper Stearns also nabbed points for Stanford with Greyserman’s 2&1 win bookend by Wang and Stearns who both earned 1up wins. Jay Leng and Edan Cui both tied their respective matches against top talent as the Cardinal earned an early spring win to start 2026.
STANFORD’S SILICON VALLEY » Dean Greyserman became the third-consecutive Cardinal to take home the Silicon Valley Amateur title, doing so on home soil as the tournament made its way to The Farm. Greyserman - who led through all three rounds of the competition - concluded the tournament at 12-under while fellow teammate Edan Cui took second at 10-under. Overall, Stanford placed four inside the top-10 of the tournament with Nathan Wang securing fourth at 2-under while reigning champion Ethan Gao placed 10th at 4-over.
GEORGIA ON EDAN’S MIND » Stanford freshman Edan Cui earned his best collegiate finish down at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate, leading the pack through two rounds before a rain-soaked third round turned the tide. Cui submitted cards of 67 (-5), 66 (-6), and 78 (+6) to end the tournament at 5-under, 211 to place in a tie for sixth. Stanford ended the tournament placing eighth out of 14 teams that included six ranked opponents.
HISTORY IN THE HAMPTONS » Dean Greyserman and Jay Leng both had career outings at the Hamptons Intercollegiate with both earning their first top-10 finishes of their respective careers. Greyserman, who led the tournament at one point, paced atop the Cardinal leaderboard, placing tied for sixth at 2-under while Leng surged into the top-10, finishing tied for ninth at 1-under. Stanford improved during all three rounds, finishing the tournament at 5-over and in fourth place out of 11 teams in its penultimate fall competition.
TOP-10 TK IN TEXAS » TK Chantananuwat led the way for the Cardinal at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational presented by Charles Schwab, earning his third career top-10 finish at 1-over, 211. Chantananuwat entered the third round of the two-day contest at 1-over following a 36-hole marathon on day one, rattling off three birdies as the sophomore slotted tied for 8th. The Cardinal took 11th overall in Fort Worth in a field of 13 ranked teams with Chantananuwat, Jay Leng, Nathan Wang and Edan Cui scoring for Stanford.
BACK TO BACK AT THE BIG MATCH » In a 19-hole thriller at Menlo Country Club, Stanford retained its Big Match title for the first time, earning a 3.5-3.5 tiebreak winner courtesy of the duo of Megha Ganne and Dean Greyserman. With both golfers earning great approach shots on the playoff 18th hole, Ganne secured the tiebreaker with a roughly 50 foot putt to give the Cardinal the win. Ganne and Greyserman secured a 3&2 win for Stanford while the Cardinal also earned points with 4&3 decisions from Edan Cui/Leigh Chien and Nathan Wang/Andrea Revuelta.
WINDY CITY STANFORD » Stanford opened the 2025-26 campaign last weekend taking an 11th place finish at the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational. TK Chantananuwat led the Cardinal through 54 holes, placing 24th overall at 2-over for the tournament. Elsewhere, Jay Leng and Nathan Wang had solid starts to the season placing inside the top-50 with both turning in cards of 7-over. Freshman Edan Cui - who made his collegiate debut - also slotted inside the top-50, earning an 8-over card.
ALL-ACC NATHAN » In his first season on The Farm, Nathan Wang had a stellar season culminating in the Cardinal’s first-ever ACC accolade with the junior being named to the All-ACC Team. Wang earned four top-20 finishes during the season and led the Cardinal with a 70.97 scoring average in 30 competitive rounds. Placing T-17 at Stanford’s debut in the ACC Championships, Wang earned his best finish of the season at the Western Collegiate placing T-5 at 5-under, 205, while also aiding the Cardinal to postseason golf for the 26th-consecutive season.
FIRST YEAR SUCCESS » In their first season on The Farm, TK Chantananuwat and Jay Leng had tremendous success for the Cardinal. Chantananuwat finished the season with five top-20 finishes including a season-best eighth-place finish at The Western Intercollegiate as the Cardinal took runners-up at its annual appearance at Pasatiempo. Leng also had a respectable freshman year, earning four top-20 finishes with his best outing being a T-12 finish at The Goodwin. Both players were two of only three players (Nathan Wang) to compete in every competition last season and the only freshman to do so.
THE SUMMER OF DEAN » Dean Greyserman enters his senior season on The Farm following an outstanding summer season back on the east coast. Greyserman, who appeared in three competitions in the 2024-25 season for Stanford, won two tournaments over the summer culminating in earning an automatic bid to the 125th U.S. Amateur Championship with a 3&1 win at the 123rd Met Amateur Championship in early August. Greyserman also took the top spot at the 70th Ike in July to kickstart MGA competitions.
FRESH FACES » A relatively young squad, Stanford welcomes two highly-touted recruits for the 2025-26 season in Edan Cui and Cooper Stearns. Cui enters his freshman season having been ranked No. 41 in the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings and was the seventh-highest player in the state of California following a win and four top-10 finishes on the AJGA circuit. Stearns comes to Stanford having been a multi-sport athlete at Irvine High School in golf and basketball. The 2025 Orange County Boys Athlete of the Year, Stearns was ranked No. 326 in the AJGA rankings and earned his lone junior win at the Los Angeles City Junior Championship.
