Quartet of Midseason All-Americans

Bellissimo, Polisky, Frist and Hasselbeck named to Inside Lacrosse DI Midseason Media All-American list

STANFORD, Calif. — Having already earned numerous accolades this season, four Stanford women’s lacrosse players reeled in All-America honors having been tabbed as Inside Lacrosse DI Women’s Midseason Media All-Americans, the organization announced Wednesday.

Cracking the list for the first time, Kate Bellissimo earns herself a spot on the First Team, while Preseason All-American Aliya Polisky was slated on the Second Team. Annabel Frist was tabbed as an honorable mention along with teammate Mallory Hasselbeck who earns her first collegiate All-American nod.

Bellissimo earns her first nod as an All-American in her collegiate career following what has been a historic season to date for the fifth-year. An ACC All-Tournament team honoree in 2025, Bellissimo was slated on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List last week as she has earned career highs in ground balls (32) and caused turnovers (24), both of which lead the team. Bellissimo shattered a nearly 26-year-old record for caused turnovers in a game with eight in Stanford’s win over No. 22/24 Duke. Bellissimo ranks tied for 13th all-time in Stanford history with 57 caused turnovers.

Aliya Polisky finds herself on the Second Team in what has been a solid campaign to date as she leads the Cardinal with 29 goals and 46 points. Having served as one of the major inputs of a multi-faceted Cardinal offense, Polisky is one assist shy of tying her single-season high with six regular season games remaining. Polisky has tallied three or more points in eight games this season as she currently sits one point shy of earning 200 for her collegiate career. Polisky currently ranks fourth all-time in career points (199), third in goals (147) and just outside the top-10 in assists (52).

Annabel Frist is back on the All-American list having had a stellar comeback season in her fifth-year campaign. Frist, who holds a 14-5-19 line has proven to be a massive help as a two-way midfielder, earning 13 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers to help lead one of the nation’s top defenses. Frist has tallied two goals in five games this season including a run of four-straight games in March. Holding her own on the draw circle, First has earned 45 draw controls in 2026 as she sits just nine back of tying Stanford’s program-record for career draw controls, having earned 363 in her career so far.

New to The Farm in 2026, Mallory Hasselbeck garners her first collegiate All-America nod in what has been a career season to date. Sitting second on the team in points, the Midseason All-American Honorable Mention has earned career highs in goals (20), assists (21) and points (41) in just 12 games donning the Cardinal Red and White. Hasselbeck has earned multiple points in all but two games this season and had a career-high in points with seven in the win over Virginia Tech.

No. 10/9 Stanford is back in action this weekend, hosting Louisville on Saturday, April 4 for Senior Day. Opening draw from Cagan Stadium against the Cardinals is slated for 1 p.m.
