Belardi and Jackson Earn AVCA/CBVB and MPSF Pair of the Week Honors

The Cardinal's ones pair went 5-0 in Texas, collecting five top-20-ranked victories

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford beach volleyball’s No. 1 pair, senior Kelly Belardi and sophomore Avery Jackson, have been named American Volleyball Coaches Association/College Beach Volleyball (AVCA/CBVB) National Pair of the Week and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Pair of the Week, the associations announced Tuesday afternoon.

The duo, paired together since March 13, holds a 9-0 record with wins over eight ranked programs at the time of competition. Belardi and Jackson went 5-0 during Stanford’s Texas road trip, defeating five pairs from top-20-ranked opponents and leading the team to a perfect Lone Star State swing. The duo clinched the Cardinal’s match wins over No. 12 LSU, No. 6 Texas, and No. 16 FAU. Their win over LSU made Belardi the first Stanford student-athlete to amass 100 or more career individual victories.

Belardi and Jackson are Stanford’s first AVCA/CBVB and MPSF Pair of the Week selections in 2026, and the fourth overall in program history. The weekly honors are Stanford’s first since then-freshman Logan Tusher and then-sophomore Chloe Hoffman earned the AVCA/CBVB award on April 14, 2025.

Stanford returns to The Farm for its next matches, hosting two local opponents on Wednesday, April 1. The Cardinal will face UC Davis at 3 p.m. and Saint Mary's at 5 p.m. Two days later, Stanford travels to Laguna Beach, California, to compete in the Best in the West tournament from April 3-4. The Cardinal is scheduled to take on No. 10 Long Beach State and No. 1 UCLA on April 3, followed by No. 3 USC and No. 4 Cal Poly on April 4.
